Seems like most of the complaints are related to either tires or the Automatic Tranny.

 

Does anyone know if the vibration issue has been addressed in the '05s? Just picked up our 5at TL w/navi this weekend. So far the ride is great. When does the vibration problem show up if at all?

If you're talking about the 1800 rpm vibration mine was there from day 1 but it certainly isn't enough to bother with .. just seems like an engine harmonic at the particular point.

Others have had worse probs with tires etc ... still considering myself lucky, haven't seen any of those probs yet (not even a rattle) w/ 3500 miles so far.

 

And it looks to me like most of those automatic tranny complaints are actually tire complaints (car shaking at 35-40mph and 45-55mph).

I only saw tire complaints for the 04 TL, not bad for a first year production.
