LED opinion

I'm stuck between http://www.vleds.com/5k-white-6-led-...06-1-pair.html

AND

http://www.vleds.com/5k-white-28-led...06-1-pair.html

I really what the stronger ones cuz they actually have some kind of functionality lol

But the other one looks like it would have a better spread pattern since it has more LEDs

But I figure at 725 lumens the spread pattern it doesn't matter cuz that's pretty freakin bright without spending an arm and a leg..

Thanx in advance

Just because there are more LEDs doesn't necessarily mean that it'll be brighter.

My buddy and I both have 2012 Mustangs. I purchased LED license plate lights that were 6 SMD and my friend got LED license plate lights that are 2 SMD. His are so much brighter and spread so much farther than mine, it's pretty ridiculous. Definitely not what I was expecting.

Just food for thought

Then ill suck it up and spend the 10 bux lol

The lumens are almost double on the second one..!
I wish I had 100 bux for the 1200lm one that would be great!!

Btw is there a coupon for acuzine and vleds???

these are the brightest ones for the DRL LEDs...they just came out and a few members have them already (I installed the 6 LED ones to replace my LED towers but returned them yesterday for my promised 10 LED version)

Ohhh and 5000k should match factory hids ?

Even tho the bulbs color shift ??
Or should I go with 6000k

I'm just worried it won't match
I'm just really picky.. Lmao

You shouldn't really worry about them matching your HIDs because the DRLs turn off when you turn your headlights on. They won't ever be on together at the same time unless you mess with the wiring and hook up the DRL to a switch kind of like the fog lights.

Factory HIDs are 4,300K which is white with a tinge of yellow.

Those 5k looks pretty white (for some reason they look A LITTLE purple during the day and the sun out, I don't know why)

I had those 6XB 725 lumen ones on for about 2 weeks. They are really bright and I liked them. I recently returned them and got the 10XB LED versions for free and have had them on the car for less than a week now. I've got to admit. The different between 725 lumens and 850 lumens is minimal to my eyes.

It's a noticeable difference on paper, but not enough difference that you will be able to distinguish with your own eyes. I could have kept the 725 lumen ones and still be just as satisfied. The only thing I feel that is nice about the 10XB 850 lumen versions is that you can brag that it's 850 lumens lol.

If you decide to buy it, I definitely recommend the $39.99 725 lumen 5k bulbs.

Well luckily I don't have a 07 or 08
So no DRL for me
The fog lights are where the high beams "should" be lol
So matching is a big thing
If they there down low on the bumper I'd go with 3000k hids..

But ill go with the 5000k LEDs just to be safe..

I have a hard time buying either of the two as the entire point of led is to provide equivalent light output at a fraction of the energy consumption. 50 watts is way too much to run as a drl in my opinion. I'm leaning towards the 1200 lumen 22 watt Samsung chip.

Your reverse lights are size 921... So no, those 194/168 will not fit. Get the 8 watt 921 bulbs they have.

Look at my avatar. That's what they look like at night when it's pitch black outside. Fully lights up my navi display I can see clearly. They cost close to $40 though.

Here's a thread I did awhile back that compared the VLEDS to the JLC Lighting CREE LED bulbs..

More LEDS doesnt mean its going to be brighter because theres more LEDs to share the voltage and each of them cant shine as intensely. IMO less LEDs is better just as shown the one with less LEDs has more lumens than the other one.

Any recommendations on 5k license plate bulbs that aren't to bright and look like the Lexus bulbs?

Which fog light bulbs did you end up getting? It looks to match pretty well; is there any hint of blue in them?

There is a small hint of blue which is weird cuz I got 5000k
But I think it's cuz if I have the hids on for long enough I get a little extra yellow tint in the housing

http://www.vleds.com/5k-white-8-led-...25-1-pair.html
License plate lights

But when I ordered mine I picked 6000k instead of 5000k
I'm fine with it tho because it looks good on the paint
They are Definitely bright and look really good plus the price is great!! Lol

I have a question about interior dome and door lights...I was thinking of getting the

http://www.vleds.com/5k-white-3-chip...21-1-pair.html.

Just wanted to know if anyone tried these and how they are for the interior. I want bright but not overly bright that it can blind me haha. Also do you think the 6000k with hint of blue look better or 5000k?

Sorry, noob to this. Noticed a link to a conversion harness. Do I need that? I'm looking to use it on the DRL for sure...maybe foggies too.
