LED Foglight

I'm currently getting a new shipment of these in a few days but got these images from my manufacturer.

Each foglight consist of 20 LEDs
Size is about 6"(L) x 1 1/4"(H) x 1 7/8"(W)
So it is very thin and slim. Of course come with on/off switch. The brightness is similar to the new Audi S6 LED daytime driving lights. So these are very bright. So just want to see what you all think of these. I'm still waitng for the moderator to approve me on those LED strip and hopefully I can get an approval on these stuff.

Thanks!

this is what I got:

These are Piaa Deno 1...only six LED though....I wanted to put them on so buy when they got delivered but then my friend say it might not look right on a luxury car....I definitely like the looks...notice that all the new cars nowaday especially Audi has LED strip built into the headlight or on the front bumper....I think they are hot....mayb one day I will change my mind and put them on...

I wouldn't expect those to produce enough light output to be of any significant value. Your HIDs will swallow any relative output they may produce.

Be sure to wire them so they can be run independent of any other ligth source, might be a neat mod to "fire through" your lower grills.

If i get it in. I will test it on my car and see how the output would look like during the day time.

Yes there are similar to the Piaa Deno. I know that Deno have both 6 and 10 LED foglight set.

IPF have 12 LED per foglight

yeah, i think as a DRL to obtain coloration they will work alright. But as far as an actual foglamp.....i don't think they habe the output of your halogens/HIDs.

These not going to be those high power LEDs. It's just for cosmetic appearance and just day time running light or parking light. So these are not usable as your regular headlamp.

those look like standard leds, not the more modern (brighter) high flux (like in our tail lights)...
interested in seeing them, but my predition is thier output will be, negligiable. Those are purely for show.

Nice. I'm glad to see that there is interest in this.

I was looking for a strip of LEDs for daytime running lights to fit in the lower grills. It fell short because I couldn't find anything with good dimensions.

Looking forward to seeing installed pics when you're done.
