Led DRL

Hey guys i just did my switchbacks and soldered the resistor now i wanna get led drl can i do something like i did with the switchbacks or do i need to do something else and is it hard to do? Is led or yellow the best for drl??

for daytime running lights you will need a in line resistor that will plug into the factory 9005 connector.

There's no soldering a resistor into a relay like you did for the LED turn signals. You'll need a 9005 led drl relay harness (so you can power the DRLs directly from the battery and they will get full 12v+) and a in line load resistor plugged into the factory 9005 drl connector so you can trick the computer into thinking the bulb is fine so you don't get a orange "DRL" error light on your dashboard

As for white led or yellow it's all preference. I think white looks cleaner and if you got switchbacks you can turn on your parking lights (one click before headlights come on) and drive with white led DRLs and white led switchbacks turned on in the front of your car. looks pretty clean to me. I wouldn't drive at night like that though because you cant see much.
