Lexol is OK. Zaino "Leather in a Bottle", IMHO, is much better. It makes your car smell like a saddle shop and is so soft. Our leather is not conditioned much from the factory. You can condition it right away. It is thirsty. One application is fine, rubbed in on a warm day. Zaino is not in stores; only by mail order. (www.zainobros.com)
I used it on everything so I didn't worry what was leather and what was vinyl. It makes the vinyl look good too. See my pics of interior after Zaino using the link below. (You have to do a short "registration" but it is free and they don't haunt you. After you register, you can post your pictures there as well for free.)
I will condition it again when the leather doesn't feel soft and pliable. Right now, it's "like butta".

During the actual coloring process, leather is actually stripped of its natural oil. Its very important to renourish it with regular frequency, depending on sun exposure, climate controls, and what part of the country you live in.

I bought my TL in mid Dec and cleaned the leather for first time in mid Feb and today I cleaned it again and applied conditioner. I use Zaino's cleaner and conditioner and am very happy with the result.
