leather

ok heres the story. i had a friend come in my car who has this obsession with hair wax. well he came in and leaned all the way back, and now i have a crap load or wax residue on my headrest. how can i safely take of the wax and how can i ensure the longevity of my leather?
thanks

Yuck... Lexol will preserve the leather but to get to the 'root' :p of the problem, you really need to talk to your friend and enforce some rules for your car.

You know, you don't have to rent the DVD to see it. You can experience it live, in 2003.

Just go to any doctor's office waiting room, emergency room waiting room, etc, if there is a wall behind the row of chairs.

You will have "Soul Glow" nightmares: a bunch of circles in a row on the wall, from head grease.

Just remember that the next time you fly/take Amtrak, etc, and the little white cloth thing is missing from the head rest part of the seat. You are taking a little head grease with you, so you can leave it on your pillow when you get home! (And even if it is there, you know those white things are never changed; they are just as dirty.)

Don't tell you wife this - she will be real grossed out (I'm sure you are too).

You need a leather cleaner that is PH balanced to remove it properly. It can be cleaned with many products, but thet can also strip the leather of it's color, and or it's natural oils and dry it out.

Maybe this really is good for the leather. I would assume it would create a water proof barrier.

I suggest you experiment for the rest of us and see how long it holds it's rich, beautiful shine. I might try it on the sidewall of the tires also; you may have stumbled across an 'all-in-one' car care product........
