LA Tint or California Tint in Northern Virginia?
Has anyone gotten their 3rd-gen TL tinted from either of these shops in Northern Virginia? If so, what film type was used. I have navigation, and concerned about the metallic films.

Personally, I'd go with Action in Fredericksburg. I know Rob, he use to work at Safe and Sound in Manassas.
Action does tint, alarm, and stereo installs. Just tell them Clay with the Accord that they did last year sent you. He'll give you a good price.

wck3,
Thanks for the referral. Fredericksburg, VA is kind of far from me. I'm in the Sterling, VA area and the two about tint shops are the closest.
If anyone has used these shops, did they also install the moleskin on your TL?

Also very interested in this.. I'm in Herndon / Chantilly, and called LA Tint and they said while they do the ceramic (for the NAVI), they do not do moleskin... but it's still $349!!
The Acura dealer here (Pohanka) uses expresstint in Chantilly; they're $249 - but they do NOT use ceramic (NAVI interference is rumored?) and they also don't do moleskin.
Really want to get tinted, but nobody here seems to do it "right", yet they still charge an arm and a leg.

Now with i-Vtec
I recommend going to The Tint Shoppe in Woodbridge VA. Talk to Rick and tell him Chris with the TL sent you. He is a good friend of mine and just tinted my TL last week. They do excellent work. You do not need to use a Ceramic tint. I didn't and I have used my Navi at least 4 times since with no problems whats so ever.
