Keys! Recommendations for backups etc?

Keys! Recommendations for backups etc?
So I recently picked up my 06 Acura TL. It unfortunately came with 1 key and a separate fob.
I called acura dealer and they said something like 110 for a replacement key... .
I understand there is a chip in the key and what not but I was wondering anyone has suggestions?
I am mainly worried about locking my keys in my car and not having a key to open the door. On my old honda I made a couple keys but I would always keep a spare in my wallet because that went with my in my pocket.
Is there cheaper alternative? Perhaps key and fob in one (that would be kinda nice). Recommendations on a online source for things like this?
thank you,

Was in the same exact position as you a month ago...
I got on ebay and found this...

it is a used one but for 18 dollars you get a key that was actually in very decent shape and programming instructions that a monkey could do!! It's the cheapest way to get that comfort of being able to unlock your doors.
Now I was given one key and one FOB (memory 2) when I bought my TL so I wanted the Memory 1 FOB and that is exactly what I got.
If you are not looking to save money then I would search the forums for the "Switchblade" Thats what I am saving for!!!

I had a flat Honda key blank cut for the TL-- no chip so, it won't start the car, but it will open the door lock. The spare key cost $2 and resides in my wallet-- it's good if the regular key is accidentally, or purposely, locked inside the car.
