Keyfob Programming Issue

Guys,

I have a small issue. So I went to the dealership and a nice man just gave me a new keyfob, the switchblade key one. I have an 04 tl and tried to program it following the instructions that are all over this site. NO LUCK. I can't read the FCC code on my original OEM keyfob that came with my car cause it's worn out. The FCC code on the new keyfob is MLBHLIK-1T. Does anyone know if I can program this to work with my 04 TL. The key part of the switchblade I will have to work on another time.

Thanks

Hmm, I wanna say . & I think the reason behind this is because on the Switchblade keys; the immobilizer and keyfob are one unit. Instead of the earlier key and fob which you can program to the car using the "Turn-Key a million times" method.

At any rate, if you decide to get it programmed at the dealer, it's 1 Hour labor & I'd suggest bringing your driver 1 and Driver 2 keys at the same time. Acura will use their HDS and program the key directly to the vehicle.
