Kaixen Bulbs...

So I bought some Kaixen Bulbs from ebay (mistake!) and they finally came in after a month. Now I'm looking at them and they are wired very awkward... I was wondering if anyone bought Kaixen bulbs (from excelerate or ebay) and had any pictures of what they looked like and how they tired them so I can compare mine. I'm just not sure if I was shipped the right product because I had such an issue getting them shipped to me from the start. please help! thanks!

what kind of bulbs are you talking about? HID's for you headlights? I guess I am confused because you are asking how they are wired....are you talking about a whole HID kit?

yes the HID headlight bulbs, sorry. No not the whole kit. I wasn't given the kit. Apparently I only have the bulb burners (from the kit), do you need the Kaixen ballasts from the kit to use the bulbs? or can I wire the bulbs to the existing ballast?

I had asked the seller if the bulbs were a simple plug in to work and he said yes, so I went with it and bought them. If I was told the wrong thing, I hope someone can tell me soon because I will have to return them to the sender... and unfortunately I have only a small window to do so. if someone knows, PLEASE help!

I'm still confused.......

maybe this will help
I got a set of 6000k kaixens from excelerate last week. I took off my bumper, took the back of the headlight apart, took the stock HID bulb out and put the kaixen bulb in. There is no wiring involved. Is it possible for you to post a pic of what you have? There should be no wires on it, you should have a bulb only

ok thats what i needed to hear. if you look on a Kaixen HID kit photo (i dont know how to post photo's yet), the bulbs have wires on them and thats what was sent to me. The guy told me the wrong thing just to make me buy them.

So the bulbs you bought from Excelerate are set up just like a normal replacement bulb? it just plugs in like a normal bulb? I havent taken apart my car to look yet so I'm not sure how its all hooked together

yea, if you are looking for just replacement HID bulbs for your headlights, they are plug and play. It sounds like you got an entire HID kit.

I highly reccomend the kaixens from excelerate. The groupbuy is still going on and the price is awesome! I ordered 2 sets, one for myself and one for another member here, I love mine! Also I got them 2 days after I ordered them, fast shipping FTW!

Oh one more thing, I noticed you were planning on getting switchbacks. The reason I purchased the kaixens in the first place is because I was looking for a bulb to match my led switchbacks closely. The 6000k's I got match REALLY close and look awesome!

yep, those are kits. You don't need all that. Just get the bulbs from excelerate and they plug right in. Easy to install too!
Tell you what, get the bulbs and if you come to the candy meet in MA next month I will help you put them in, THAT is a good deal hahahaha
