i have trouble beliving the # that this guy is providing..... you would need more then 8 hp to drop a quarter mile time by .35 seconds... sounds like a better launch or different conditions..... and raising the top speed by 4 mph highly doubt full, the drag at those speeds is tremendous, you need almost 3 times the horespower to go 150 then to go 100. and the drag gets higher and higher the faster you go. k&n airfilters are good. but he makes them out to seem almost super heroish....

Well said ONAGER. Even in this day and age some people still believe that if they see it written somewhere it must be true. Points for you.

After re-evaluating this filter, we realize, that although it does fit and will filter effectively, it is difficult to install. For that reason, we have removed the filter from our listings for 2004 and will be designing a new one.

In the meantime, if you wish to return the filter for a refund, please contact AJ-USA about returning it to them. If you are unable to return the filter through them, please contact customer service at 909-826-4100 or toll free 800-858-3333, Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm Pacific Time, they will be happy to assist you.
Yeah, their attorney finally saw their first response and said "WTF are you thinking. Why don't you just admit liability and buy everyone new engines."
If you used this filter I would have my engine internally inspected very thoroughly, especially if you like to run your car hard.

Those times and dyno numbers very well may be true, but ONAGER's response is also true and quite relevant. Dynos can deliver different readings on different days with the same engine. Also, how many runs were made with both filter scenarios?

As he said, 8 hp ain't gonna buy over 1/3rd of a second E.T.
