K&N filtercharger???

I don't think they're available yet, but what does everyone think about the K&N filtercharger? Even if the performance improvement is minimal, you still get the longer change interval and the warranty. Just curious.

Welcome. There are a lot of pro's and con's presented by those who like K&N's and those that don't. What is clear is that they have stood the test of time as a company and a product.

There have been concerns posted here about the fitment of the previously recommended K&N filter. Hopefully they will develop a new filter specifically for TL's.

If anyone finds out K&N has a revised part number, pass it on and I will do the same. Thanks

I was just wondering what are the cons on the K&N filters? I have used them for years(over 20)and have yet to really find a downside to them.As far as performance goes,it does seem to work,I could tell a difference from the stock filter to the K&N filter.

You could tell a difference how? SOTP? Did you dyno the car B4 and after? Are you just saying "it feels faster"?

Funny you ask,I have not dynoed the TL but I did dyno my Hemi Ram after a few mods, base HP was 297,put flow's on it,HP went up to 305,put a K&N filter in it HP went up to 314.I do plan on putting a cold air kit on it,I have also thought about a supercharger but 555hp in a truck is a bit much. And my truck is faster than my TL in a straight line, fact not fiction.
