Will the K & N filter from the 99-03 TL be the same as the 04...


Is it the same J32 intake airbox???

FYI - the '04 TL has a J32A3 block. You can't really refer to a J32 air filter, since there are three in the series.

Anyone purchased K&N filter for their 04 TL? If yes, where and how much?

 

I bought the 33-2078 filter from ajusa.com (linked from the K&N web site). Cost was 40.89, free ground shipping and no sales tax outside of Calif.

This filter also fits some 90s bimmers, so if you know a place to find discount bmw parts you may find it there.
