Just picked up a 3G TL Type S WDP
Hey what's up guys, new to the acura scene but familiar with the honda scene. I ve owned about 7 honda s and currently have a 97 accord ex wagon. Just picked up this 07 type s and I absolutely love it. I've been wanting one of these since they came out. I'm switching over from a supercharged 03 tiburon 6spd and it is a major difference. I had tons of $ into that car but for this I do not have many plans. Just tint, leds, and roof spoiler.

Welcome to the forums. Good choice in vehicle! I agree, the Type S doesn't need a whole lot done to it, only what you personally want to do. It already has parts and features on it that other people pay a premium to get for their ride. Saying that, there will always be things that you will want to do to your TL.

Thanks, I think I had enough with the modding . I had about 15k into my tiburon sadly. Just want to enjoy the type s and not have to worry about too much.
Thanks Mnp... it's a classy but quick car. I just want to keep it clean lol. Btw I did notice that the gas needle moves kind of quick. .. I have to get used to driving it to get the best mpgs

Congrats on the purchase. If I may make a couple suggestions on LEDs since you said that was one of the plans you had for the Type S. The ONLY way to go for park and turn signal LEDs are the Vleds.com V3 Triton's!! Don't even bother with anything else. For the fronts you have options for standard amber, or switchbacks are also available. As for interior lighting, so far the best bulbs I have seen with best color (not a ricer blue color, but a very clean and OEM looking pure white light), is the sylvania LEDriving 194 wedge bulb. Some auto zones carry them in stock, otherwise amazon also has them. Those as well as the V3 Triton's are pricey, but it's a one time thing and your done and the results are awesome.
