You know, dozens of factors would make this result different.
Based on your driving habit, road conditions, traffic, area by area, etc, ppl always get the varied outcome.
For example, I got 15~18 in NYC, but once I hit the interstate, my MPG would go up to 25~31.
Where do you usually drive???

I'm averaging a little over 25 mpg. 22 to 23 around town, and 30 to 32 steady freeway or rural driving. Very little stop and go city driving w/associated idling, which absolutely kills good economy.

never stops!
City/higway (20%/80%) = 24/27. Have 19K miles. Initially I got 19/22 then it improved. As said depends on what kind of traffic you drive. Whether you drive aggressively? etc.

It might be helpful if people also posted their average speed. Currently, my MID says 26 MPG and 39 MPH. When the average speed is higher, so is the mileage. I'm curious if your average speed is around 25 MPH or so with mileage like that.

I realize all the factors involved but it’s amazing to see the wide range of average mpg. About 75% of my driving is intersate and I usually average about 19-20 mpg. With the high price of premium gas these days I sure wish I was getting in the high 20's like some people.

Big foot? Jammed traffic? Stop & Go in all your local driving?
For example, if everyday I have to drive 25 miles in Manhattan of NYC, and travel back and forth to Long Island at noon and midnight (75% of interstate), I bet my MPG will be much much worse than yours.

i'm at 4500 miles and just got an oil change. the mid showed my mpg at 22 and mph at 39.
i reset the mid before i left the dealer and now its showing 27 mpg and 47 mph. but i have less than an hour of driving. i'll post in couple of days and see what it says.
you can reset by holding down the reset button.
i plan to reset every oil change. i think reseting every time i fill up is too often.

Make MyTL Great Again
I've been driving the car for a little over a week. I think I have ~240 miles on it. I filled up around 190.
MID said: 15 mpg, I think avg mph was around that too.
So after my first fill up, i've driven 40-50 miles, and I've got 18mpg / avg mph 18.
So I'm expecting this to continue to rise as more miles are put on the car. BTW, I'm still only maxing out at 50/60 occasionally as I'm trying to break in the engine properly. It really feels wierd to be that guy driving slow in the right lane...cause I never do that. The good thing is that I haven't been able to install my radar detector in the car yet, but I don't have to worry since I am constantly monitoring my speed and not hitting 60.

The mileage does indeed improve somewhat the longer you've driven the car. Brand new, I had around 20 mpg in my mixed driving (40% freeway, 60% city). I now get an average of 23-24 mpg, and on long trips (80 mph), 29 mpg.
