is it just me or you cant see how much miles your tank will give you?

or is it only that yellow sign when your near empty? is that the only idication of how much fuel you have? also when the yellow light comes on, how much miles do you have left until its empty?

Not certain on the '05, but try this.

If you have a "Range" or "Miles to Empty" function, it'll be on Page 2 of the MID TC.

Go to the Trip Computer on the MID. Go to the page that has MPG, Avg MPH, Elapsed TIme, Elapsed Distance, etc.

Then use the "Down Arrow" on the MID steering wheel control. That';; take you to "Page 2" on the TC, assuming it is there.

its the same thing as having a fuel light to let you know that your getting close to the end...that plus your guage...i think when the light goes on you have like 4-5 gallons of gas left...its quite a bit...

i have an 06, and mine is like what Bearcat94 described. its kind of a pain, i think it should be located in the same place as the outside temp and %oil life, but whatever. like he said, just go to the trip computer screen and press the down arrow if thats what you have, or push the right "info" arrow like the one in my car and probably yours too, and there you are.

Just a suggestion, but don't run the car til the light comes on. Most fuel pumps now are submersible. When you get to the point that the fuel light comes on there is a chance that at times the pump is not submerged 100%. The fuel in the tank actually helps keep the pump cool. When you routinley run your car to the point where the light comes on, you are risking premature failure of the fuel pump by it burining out by not being properly cooled.

I have an '06 as well. I think Acura should place a small display window devoted to the "Miles Left" feature in the trip computer embedded into the fuel gauge.

In addition, I find it pretty accurate within 5-10% of actual. Which is fine for me.

I've read this same advice and reasoning before. It seems to make sense. I also think it is why the light comes on early - with about 4 Gallons of Fuel remaining.

That way, by the time the Range gets to 0 (about 3 gallons of fuel left), you are the point where Acura really wants the fuel tank level to get no lower.

Since the OP's question on whether or not there is a gizmo which lets us know what the miles to empty are have been answered (yes) AND since there have been many threads on how much gas is left when the light comes on ( read tripnbeats response), I am closing this thread.
