I will be happy if I can get it down to $33,000 + tax and fees.
Don't know if San Diego dealers can approach those other prices quoted here. If so... I'll do it!

Update: After following some advice in this thread I finally got my car for the price I wanted to pay: $32,500 +TTL. That's only $1000 more than I paid for my '03 CL!
I emailed several dealers in the SD area with that price. Two replied and said they would sell it to me. Two other dealers I first visited would not do the deal. One of the main reasons is because they install LoJack in each and every new car on their lot. If you don't buy the LoJack service, the device stays in the car and the dealer eats the $600 LoJack price. Therefore, they try to pass some of that onto the buyer. So I'm grateful for this site and the experiences I read from all the posters.
Anyways... Ball Acura in National City did a good job selling me the car and I would recommend them.
I'm also happy with Honda finance. Not only did I get the 2.9% finance rate, but they waived the remaining three months I had on my '03 CL lease and waived any penalty for early termination. And to top it off, my CL needed two new tires and I was 2000 miles over my mileage. Ball Acura just took my CL as a trade-in so I avoided those expenses. It's also nice when you can turn in a car with no gas in it and get another with a full tank.

I got a quote from a bay area dealer for a 2006 Acura TL with Navigation for $34400 Out the Door. They told me the price is for just the car and doesn't include any dealer installed accessories. I think it comes out to around 30900+destination+ttl. What are the dealer installed accessories? splash guard, mats, wheel locks, cargo net? How much are those worth?
Is the price a great price even without the accessories?

Damn....Acura of Baton Rouge wants 32000 for an 06 w/o Navi.....I wanted one for invoice or a little over and they wouldn't do it. I guess it sucks to have only one Acura dealer in town.

I bought my first one from Classic Acura in Beaumont and I do NOT recommend them.
The second I bought from Champion Acura on the Gulf Freeway in Houston. I was very happy with them. Jeremy was my salesman and he also happens to be the internet manager.
The third I am buying from Sterling McCall simply because they are a larger dealer and were able to give me a much better deal on my trade as a result; otherwise I would have gone with Champion Acura again. However, I must say that I am very happy with Sterling McCall as well. I have been working with their internet manager, Matt, and he is doing a great job.
Good luck...hope this helps...

Hi,
Can you provide me the name of the person who gave you that quote? That's a really nice deal. I am in the Bay Area as well, and I am in the market for a TL. Thanks.

Hey for those of you who want to buy a TL in the San Jose area, I'd recommend going to the the los gatos dealership and ask for Dave Donohue. The guy was genuinely nice and gave me a great quote on a TL (34,500 otd). He knows his stuff and was extermely helpful. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get the TL then (I went in on 7/30) because I was driving back down to San Diego. Price will obviously change since I did go in at the end of the month and Honda was offering 1000 dollars to the dealerships to help sales. If you go to Stevens Creek try to stay away from John Lee, that salesman was horrible and disrespectful, so if anywhere try Los Gatos.
Also, if you are in the San Diego area, I went to the Kearny Mesa dealership and was offered 35200 OTD.
So just some numbers to play around with.

Has anyone recently purchased this vehicle? Please post Price incld Destination. I have seen that SoCal has been offering the best prices, but want to walk in to the dealership knowing what is possible in NJ area.
Thx
