Just got my car!
Hey guys, after a LONG couple weeks (due to the 05 recall) I got my 05 NBP on Ebony (22,XXX miles)
I absolutely love the car, and the hands free is amazing!
I put this in the performance thread because I have to say, although I wasn't TRYING to get "competitive" yesterday (rather just watching other competitions), a kid (maybe 16-17) in a Pontiac Firebird was looking for some action... I don't know if it was the performance of the car, or him being a crappy driver, but we (on a closed road that is known for drag - closed industrial, and acknowledged by the public) took off from a dead start, my new tires started spinning and I couldn't help but smile, and we took off. We race for about 40 seconds (before we had to slow down for the turn around). Long story short, I beat him by two car lengths LOL.... I was happy
Just thought I'd share with you guys.
Don't worry, this wasn't on the open road with traffic or anything...
- sorry, I cant help but smile... I know to you guys this might not be a big deal, because you guys probably eat those like candy, but to me, who previously have a 2000 Cavalier... a win against a firebird dosen't come often LOL

hmmmm honestly about a week ago i would have agreed that it was a V6 but i dont kno if i could agree to that now. Why? well as some of you know i have a cousin on this forum (yungbuck) anyways i was in his car and the neighbor down the street just purchased a mustang GT 2002 M/t and wanted to race my cousin my cousin knowing those cars are meant to drag tried to get out of it but couldnt really so they we went to a CLOSED undustrial road also known for street racing and Dragging ( my cousin owns a 2002 TL-S stock with a new tranny) and we did three runs and all three of them we pulled about 1.5 cars on the V8 mustang the thing is we never thought that was going to happen anyways that same night we went out to get something to eat and we ran into a 99-2002 TransAm WS-6 Ram Air. he was reving his engine at the light but my cousin didnt really punch it at the light but instead sort of paced the car and at about 5-7mph floored it and suprisingly the Trans AM did too but we pulled 1car on him.
to all the people that might say that maybe the WS-6 didnt kno he wasnt racing well u can tell when one of those cars is racing by the monster sound of the engine and trust me it was racing.
also the only thing i can come up with is that American muscle loses alot of horspower over the years more so than a Honda? again i dont kno any conclusion to this would be welcomed.

i THINK i saw you the other night... we should try to organize some stuff on highway... show those ricers what POWER is all about. I am racing my friends 07 Pontiac G5 today. I am thinking ill win, they only have like 210 HP, etc... kinda a weak car.
