Very excited. Got an 06 Black with Black leather NAVI 6 speed. i had an 02 type s, but i got hammered by a drunk driver. this new car helps ease the pain from that accident. i like the stock look so i will not be doing anything exciting. just had to share my joy.

Too bad about the accident, but I know how something like that feels. I got a 2006 Acura TL last November as a result of my old (1996) Mazda 626's engine "blowing up" on the freeway on a return trip to the San Francisco area from Yreka. Anyway, I'm really happy with my 6MT Acura TL. I was thinking about going with a 2007 TL, but when I found out that they were phasing out manual transmissions for 2007 TL's, I grabbed a 2006 TL. So perhaps it's a good thing that my Mazda 626 blew up when it did, since I was planning on retiring it soon anyway and would have been in a bind if all of the 2006 TL 6MT's were gone.

By the way, I noticed that you and many others mention that you own a 6-speed (MT6). But when I peek at other TL's that I see in parking lots around they always are automatic transmission models (5AT). I must have taken a gander at at least a dozen other TL's but have yet to see another MT6 with its characteristic black Brembo front brakes.

Congrats. I also have kept my 05 stock for the past year and a half. The only mod I might do is tint the windows or maybe a RSB.
