I just bought a 2005 TL 6 Spd MT with Navi. I love it. my previous car was a 2005 Acura RSX Type-S. i wanted a four dour car and i thought to myself, why not a TL so i went and looked for TL's 6 spd MT and found couple .. my TL is Silver with Black Interior. Boy do i love this car. i still need to get use to the clutch. its alot softer then my RSX's Clutch (i did change the clutch to a Exedy Stage 1 on the rsx)

 

first of all welcome to az! I had an nbp rsx type-s before this car too but it was an 06. you're right about the clutch, its a lot different from the rsx. It took me a good while to get used to it..but all good now. exedy stage 1 huh.. did you boost the k20?

Congratulations. I myself came from an RSX-S. It was an 04 in SSM. It was a fun car to drive and I had alot of good times with her. I do sort of miss driving a stick shift but driving an auto is alot more relaxing especially on my commutes. Seems alot of RSX owners are coming over to the TL side, I don't blame any of them, the TL is a GREAT car

nah... i was having grinding problems with the 05 tranny, so i got an 06 and i thought, since the tranny is out, might as well change the clutch. so i got the exedy stage 1.. i loved that clutch..

 

thanks guys.. yea i have noticed alot of rsx owners getting TL's.. i sure do love my TL. no regrets at all getting it.. i have plans for my TL..nothing big.

 

Congrats. It took me a minute to get used to the clutch on mine too. I was coming from an 03 Maxima and the pedal travel was a lot longer on it than on the TL. The clutch on the TL felt like an "on/off switch" instead of a clutch for the first few miles. Weird thing is I don't come close to stalling my TL like I did my Maxima.

Do some searches on here and start with the mods!
