Just bought my 06 TL...one hour ago :)

Hello everyone! After owning nothing but Honda Accords all my life I noticed three very important things that each one of my 2000, 1995 and 1989 150K + mile Accords had in common. 1- Reliability! Reliability! Reliability! 2- Value for your $ and 3- The cars are confortable, with lots of room, look very decent and when something does break down your average mechanic can easily pin-point the problem and not charge you an arm and a leg for repairs. Point being, I have jumped into that luxury or as some call it "near luxury" category. With 11 miles on the odometer ( 20 now ) im the newest TL owner loving every single thing about this car. Everything! As soon as the excitment wears down ( dont hold your breath ) pics will be posted. Thanks to this site and most of its users I was able to be on the look out for any rattles, paint issues etc. Thanks again guys/gals! 2006 Acura TL Silver/Quartz int, automatic with navigation. Going to the tint shop tommarow. Oh yeah, and the navi. is so acurate...its scary!

Welcome, don't forget the moleskin! I hope your TL is as good as mine. 35% F 20% R 3M for me.

Congrats on your new TL.

I have now had mine for 8 months, and I still get excited about it. The TL is the best ever. I have had no regrets what-so-ever. My friends always think I'm nuts. They tell me it's just a car, and to get over with it. Never!

Enjoy

TL purchase is best purchase I've ever made so far.

1. Taurus (I was a little excited)
2. Mustang (fairly excited, but worn off after couple years)
3. TL (excitement still very strong - same as day one I pulled out of dealer)

If my TL gets totaled today, I would buy another TL tomorrow. If my mustang got totaled, I would been looking for something else.

I remember when i picked my TL up from the dealer it had 10.7 miles on her.

Now its reading 61,000 miles and i'm still enjoying it.

She never goes more than 24 hours without being cranked, except for the 3 days while i had the supercharger installed.

And a belated welcome to acura818 also.

How did the tint job turn out? If they did a good job, share the name of the place with us.

I am also looking to purchase an 06 TL auto with nav. I've heard that TLs have significant rattle problems. Are they fixed in 06? I test drove an 06 a week ago, but it was over very smooth roads, and the car seemed rattle free.
