What's up guys! As the title states I recently bought an 08 type S. My car before it was a black 97 3.2 TL which is still in my driveway. I had done some subtle things to the 97 ..(it's for sale if you're interested. I'll post pics to the thread when I get it out of the snow!!!!!)

-Changed out the turning signals to white
-Found a tint that perfectly matched the black paint
Hella driving lights
-Hardwired valentine
-Alpine deck with hardwired IPhone mount in the dashboard

So now with the new car I have a issues, maybe you can help me

1) The aux port with the iPod doesn't allow me to control my iPod from the navi screen, which would be ideal. Do I have any options to change this?

2) everyone is talking about the weapon R intake. Is it worth it? Is there anything better?

3) the exhaust looks sexy but it's not deep enough. Is there a good, inexpensive way to fix that? withought making it sound like a lawnmower...lol

4) Need a simple black tint that matches the black paint. I've been to two shops and haven't found anything that I love. Also I live in Boston and the laws prohibit fully blacked out cars.

5) the headlights. I've heard about halo's? For the daytime running lights? Anyone have any info about that?

6) got an iPad for Xmas and I'm wondering if there are any in car options yet.

I'd appreciate any other suggestions.

2. who's talking about that intake? get the aemv2 intake if you're going to get one at all. our vendors excelerate and heeltoe sell it. you can also look in the black market section of the forum for people selling them used. http://www.excelerateperformance.com

4. i have 20% tint on my NBP TL and it looks perfect.

5. i use halos as my DRL's, and it looks great. good idea. JnC and AckTL05 are two vendors on this site that can help you out with that. send them a PM when you can.



6. what do you mean?

make sure to search search search...mostly everything you could ever want to know is hidden somewhere in this forum. a little hint, when searching...put your criteria in quotation marks, it'll help. also, go to google...and just search for what you need with acurazine in the title and the right threads will pop up.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Sharks, extremely helpfull buddy. I'll admit I had a little trouble navigating the search but the quotations made all the difference. This is my first experience with any forum.

Btw those Halos are Sexy! I think that's exactly what I want. I'll reach out to those vendors.
