Congrats on your new ride!

The CTS-V is in a whole different class so you tell us if it was worth it =)

TL's a great car, but it's definitely not gonna feel as quick as the cts-v, what made you decide to make the switch?

Erick, you'll love the Type S. I don't know how it will compare to the V, but the Type S is still a great car.

Be sure to join our Type S Social Group here.

I recently bought my '07 TL-S too and all I can say is wow. It was between a M45 and the TL-S and at the end of the day I'm glad I made the choice. It also helps that I got it at amazing deal =)

Must have been an older V. there is no way i could see someone trading in the new V for a type S unless they couldnt afford the V.

i sooo want the new V coupe coming out this year.

Try looking in the Black Market section. You may want to post a WTB thread there.

I hear ya' (about the power) Erick. I'd like to test drive a V one day-just to get a feel for the power.

If you ended up buying an automatic TL, be prepared to have HUGE decrease in low end torque and the car will always feel like it's in the wrong gear (ie-4th gear going 20 mph). Honestly, unless you baby the car or drive all highway miles, you aren't going to get much better gas mileage than your LS1.. I can hardly crack 225 miles to a full tank of gas these days..

Coming here from another former owner of a LS1 V8 engine powered car..

Its an auto, but to be honest I'm 24 and have owned 6 other cars... all of them stick.... my choices were type-s or is350.... Honda's in my blood so naturaly I went with the Acura.... I'm tired of stick... maybe my next car will be stick again... who knows ........ anybody who's anybody that has a true passion for the Honda family needs to watch " the pursuit of function" its documentery on Honda/ jdm world... a lot of people can relate to it... youtube ,its in five parts....
BY THE WAY IT WAS AN LS6 ZO6 MOTOR NOT AN LS1 :-)
