Just bought an '06 TL. Need YOUR input!

After searching for FOREVER I finally got my TL. It's an '06, black on black, nav, 6 spd and sick! I just put my 18" Lexani Apex's (black w/ machined lip) on there from my previous car, they are a little small, but I figured I would leave them on there and lower it. For now I just want springs, no coilovers or anything....anybody know where I can get them WITHOUT spending an arm and a leg???

ALSO, just need some input...I was thinking about painting the grille black and leaving the Acura symbol chrome until I go ahead and buy a new one...orrrr bad idea?

and as far as the tail lights go, I was condisering smoking them like I did with my last car...but my last car was white so I don't know how good that would look on the black!

eventually I want to get the a- spec lip kit, gotta save up a little while for that though!

Would LOVE to hear your input!!

Congrats on your purchase.

I just found these TEIN S deal on ebay and I bought them, I think is pretty good.

As far of tail lights search for AckTL and you'll see some tail lights he's done

For the grille checkl on the photo gallery and thread called "FLAT BLACK GRILLE" and you see some of what the guys have done.

And let the MOD start, LOL

Take a look around this board, there are some great ideas floating around.
not saying your ideas are bad don't go the cheap route and make the car look cheap.
tinting tails died in 2008!
Go custom, with AckTL. He's the man with the master plan. for tails that is.

We have a lot of spring and suspension options available for a lot of prices. I would caution you from getting too cheap on it though because it will only cost more later. $700 is a good budget for a good suspension that will last a long time and work awesome! Of course you can just get springs for less than half that but you'd still be buying shocks later.

Painting the grille black is not a bad idea, but I would leave the grey part there for some contrast. I think you'd be a perfect candidate for our new black chrome emblem package!

I personally don't like the smoked tail look. Better would be to get a TL-S lamp kit:
