Paul, the Sarona spoiler reaches completely across the back window. The JDM spoiler will leave about a 1/4 of an inch in either side. I have the JDM and it does not bother me in the least that there is a 1/4 inch on either side.

I believe it is also fiberglass.
I think the Sarona one is worth the money but thats just me. Hell the OEM type-S decklid spoiler is pretty expensive and feels waay cheaper. Got my Sarona for $280 shipped... then a bit more for paint. Can't wait to get it on!

OMG! $90......I got one similar to this for like $20-$30 awhile back. Anyway I hated it and took it off. You get what you pay for and it looked cheap. I will be getting one of the new ATLP aero roof spoilers to replace it though, I think they look much better than the sarona as well!

I had the opportunity to see one in person yesterday and it just confirmed my opinion even more. I owned the JDM one, seen Allons and Brians car with the Sarona, and now the ATLP. ATLP is better fit from tip to tip, perfect contour and just the right amount of lift. Definitely another quality product out of ATLP. This is basically my extensive review if you care to read:
JDM: Owned this and is a decent buy "for the price" and that's pretty much it. There is a 1/4" at the edges, and the contour of it does not sit flush with the rear glass but its not that bad either and IMO there is not enough lift/stance to it to make a bold statement.
Sarona: This spoiler picks up where the JDM lacks. Better fitment overall, but still has that gap at the edges, but not as pronounced as the JDM one for sure. Better lift and better fitment on the rear glass compared to JDM. This spoiler makes is "beefier" according to Brians words and he's right and hence makes more of a bold presence compared to JDM.
ATLP: This spoiler takes the cake and reason for that is because it was designed and molded for our TL, and it shows. The fitment goes right to the edge of the glass perfectly. The countour fitment is impeccable and duh obviously, it was molded to our car.. was there any doubt? LoL.
Now here is the differences between the Sarona and ATLP and this is where it comes down to personal preference.
ATLP vs. Sarona: Both are quality looking spoilers. I dont think the JDM should be even compared here because its just not in the same league. The Sarona has more of a raised look to it and more linear in its appearance. The ATLP has more of a smoothened out and sleak look to it, which makes it look like a add on factory option. Not too overbearing and not too under done either.. just tasteful and right. However that said, both spoilers look good and are a great addition.
I'm not hating on any spoiler, just trying to be as honest as I can with my review. If ATLP did not exist, I would get Sarona hands down.

Elegant has done a perfect comparison! When I got mine, I'm not sure if there was anything else on the market that was discussed on Acurazine. The proof is in the pictures.

his sarona is teh sex.
if i never seen a pic of his version, i would have never wanted a roof spoiler.
i ordered the atlp for the price. saving over $100 compared to sarona was worth the risk. although, from what i can see it looks very close to as good. i'll know for sure once it's painted and i do a side by side pic comparison of mine and jptl04's.
#33
looks like the ATLP roof spoiler is exactly like jptl04's roof spoiler but he had to shave the bottom of the serona lip to get it to fit as well as it does. Where as the ATLP just fits perfect without modification. Anyone know where to buy the ATLP roof spoiler?

i don't believe it's for sale yet, other than for the 50 people that were on the preorder list. the quote in my sig has the link to that discussion.

ok here is my serona spoiler. i had to do some work on it in the form of shaving some of the underside of it. by underside i mean the side that makes contact with the glass. not too hard. once i did that the fit was i'd say perfect!
i too am very curious about the ATLP spoiler. iv'e seen pics of it but they dont show the true fitment. they are all far away. if anyone who has this spoiler could take some shots LIKE THIS to show how it truly sits on the rear. ballinfizzle89 i know you got a camera and know how to use it from far away the ATLP spoiler looks good i just want to see some closer shots of it, im sure others would too

Looks good jp.. Now all we need is an ATLP spoiler posted in here .. closeups just like you said and this thread can be stickied or added to the garage for a very useful review thread, but so far I think my review between JDM vs. Sarona is on point so far. Maybe ballnfizzle can help us out here with the ATLP.
