J32 engine(pistons & rods) w/ J35 crankshaft.

Does anyone know the round about compression ratio of a J32a3 rotating assembly inside a J32a3 block & heads w/ just a J35 crank swapped in it? It has to be a little higher than stock J32 which is 11:1 from my understanding. Also which crank would work best? I guess mostly any J35 crank around the same year(2006) because the main journals would be the same size as J32. Thanks

If you put a J35 crank in a J32A3 without replacing the rods and you will destroy the engine the moment you rotate the engine for the first time. Sorry, this is an absolute recipe for disaster.

Should I put the J35 rods in? Or your saying just buy new rods? I wouldn't think that raising the compression ratio a little bit wouldn't kill it with stock rods... I do have quite a few mods already. Of course I'll be checking piston to valve clearance.

Yes on the J35 rods.

As for the J32 rods, they are more than long enough to cause the piston to smash into the head and valves and whatever else may be in the way.
