Talking I've developed a TL fetish

I think I'm abnormally obsessive and preoccupied and attached to my TL. I believe that its an object with some magical power in it and am unreasonably excessive attentive to it. I have developed a TL Fetish..........

Anybody else feel the same?

My wife says I am addicted. Yes, I must be if I keep checking this board regularly. At the beginning, my ten year old son was also addicted. Walked around the house everyday with the TL brochure. But he's moved on to better things.
Fetish? I don't think so. At least I don't wannna think so.

I don't even have the car yet and my wife thinks I'm nuts. I don't have a fetish yet, but I think I'm jealous of all of you that already have yours.

Personally, I think it's great. You've got to have passions in life - things that keep you feeling like a kid again.

I've had my TL two months and I've Zaino'd it five times. I have to because I wash it so much!

Don't you love these guys?!

He's comparing an $80K car to our $33k car! When we talk about how well our car handles or how fast it is I'm expecting some guy to post: "Yeah, but the TL doesn't handle as well as a Ferrari" or "Sure, but it's not as fast as Porsche Turbo Carrera".

What a terrific car we own. By far, the TL has the best combo of sport, luxury, toys, reliability and VALUE.

He did not say that TL handles well. He said: "I've developed a TL fetish". I owned 02 TL-S. It was a great car for the money, but I did realized that there are cars that are much better. I currently own BMW 540 and I do know that there are better and much better cars. 540 is not better than E55. It is cheaper. Same with TL. It does not represent better value than E55 or RS6. It is much cheaper. You can only talk VALUE when you comparing similarly priced/equipped cars. TL may or may not represent better value that G35. TL is lesser (and cheaper) car that RS6 or E55.

I'll say it - THE TL HANDLES WELL. Appreciable combination of quality and performance, and a reasonable price. There are
MB and BWMs that cost considerably more and do not offer the ergonomics or ANY increase in quality.

Let the individual enjoy the car - I'm certainly enjoying my Anthracite/Ebony/5AT/EBony '04 TL more than I imagined I would.
Maybe another forum is more appropriate for 'E55' PR.
