Well, I have my new baby!!!!!

I just got home from the Acura dealer with my '05 ABP TL w/Navi and 6-speed. The car arrived 3 days before they said it would and the whole transaction was a piece of cake...in and out of the dealership in less than an hour (we already negotiated the deal 2 weeks ago).

I also cut the salesman short when he was going to show me all the buttons in the car since he has only worked there 5 weeks. I am sure I know more than he does about it, especially since I have been lurking on this site for about a year now!

Now I just have to spend a few hours playing with all the buttons and paring my bluetooth. What fun!

Thank you to everyone that helped me make this decision. I am thrilled so far!

Oops...ABP with Camel interior. No problems yet, but I also only have 15 miles on it. I am keeping the miles off of it for now as I have my ClearBra installed later this week.

 

Did you go through Muller Acura (Acura of Woodfield or whatever they are called now)? Thanks.

I did buy it through Muller's Woodfield Acura in Hoffman Estates. I orginally ordered it through Arlington Acura in Palatine, but they took my deposit and never followed up. After 3 weeks and a couple unreturned messages from the salesman and the sales manager, I went in an cancelled my order.

Muller's got me the car very fast, didn't ask for a deposit and delivered the car as promised. Very easy deal.

 

Congrats on your new TL! You're smart holding off driving until you get the clear bra applied. I have the clear bra and it's the best money I've spent on the car and easy to maintain. Enjoy your new ride.

 

That is great to hear. I keep debating whether I should spend the extra $530 (extended kit) or not, but I know it is the right thing to do. Did you buy any of their special cleaners for the clearbra? I know they try to sell you some extras.
