It's never ending

With the addition of conjunctions into the English language it often allowed for sentences to reach greater lengths then the normal six word sentences you have become accustomed to in your derelict life. I was in college for three years and just dropped out this semester to join the Air Force where I will achieve a bachelors degree in either mechanical or electronic engineering. And search pararescue training and I'm sure you'll never be able to participate in that, the training is harder than the navy seals and is a job within the Air Force I have chosen. And I have already completed the introductory intense training day if the job becomes open. I also ensure you that my English scores were more than acceptable to denote me to deans list all six semesters. Anything else children?

Although I've been doing the same shit, I've been very lucky with my TL. I've only had to change the oil once since owning and I've replaced the trans fluid with Redline. I'm soon putting a stop to modding and putting away money for the 105k service since I'll hit that in about 10k miles.
Ricci, if you had problems with the car before modding, you should have put it towards maintenance. If you had problems after modding, then oh well.
It is a used car and you should expect the normal wear and tear. Also, this car is known for tranny issues, just because it's a luxury car doesn't mean it has great parts that won't fail.

Yeah because everyone else on here has over $1k sitting around.
I don't need that long to save up, but I'd rather start putting it away now so when the time comes, it's not a question of whether I can afford it or not.
Not going to be one of those people that pushes it to 120k miles because I can't afford it at the time.

Damn, I'd be scared to drive a TL without at least 3-4k in the bank. What happens when the tranny goes out like 75% of the other TLs out there? You just let it sit in the driveway for 4 months?

My trans seems to be in great condition, I don't plan on that going out anytime soon. Plus my family is in the car business so 3k is joke won't be paying that much.
Although it's great to have that much saved up for emergency repairs or maintenance, I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone who is sitting in the same boat.
My car has been very reliable and the only "repair" I've had to do was replace the o-ring in the power steering hose, $0.72.

Alright dude here is the deal. Im usually a very opinionated person on this forum and have no problems speaking my mind. First off the reason everyone got on you here is because you made a post that was more or less bashing the car. Obviously this is an Acura forum and coming on here saying you hate the car, that its a piece of shit and you wanna drive it into a tree becomes somewhat personal since we all love our Acura's. Then on top of that everything you listed was either self inflicted or normal wear items (ie. lowering and not aligning properly, stripping bolts, hitting a dear etc etc). Then you kept bringing up stuff about your income and your girlfriend and your better off than most people at your age. It just kinda came off as cocky and thats what usually sets people off as you can see. Im gonna be nice for once and say that for the young age of 20 it sounds like your doing good. 35k is a good income for your age, sounds like you have a plan for your future, and your girlfriend is cute. When I was 20 I was making no money just taking on more and more debt in college with student loans. My father in law is a retired air traffic controller in the AF, and my brother in law is a C-17 pilot out of Elmendorf, Alaska.

That's good then, I guess I just worry too much! Everyone on here talking about transmission problems all day is just a bummer I'm scared to drive the damn thing half the time. I think if I stopped reading the message boards I'd be able to enjoy my car a lot more!

Yes indeed, the forum is a great place with tons of info, but it is also the place to come to if you're having problems. Out of all the 3G TL's made, I'm sure us members only make up a small portion of the population.
The amount produced to the amount of people having major troubles is probably fairly slim. If it was that problematic, the TL wouldn't sell so well.

Not to sound mean or anything but if you have to "put away money" to afford a 105k service why do you even own a TL? I cringe every time I hear somebody on here that owns a luxury car but doesn't have enough money to cover basic maintenance. Is this the norm are are there actually fiscally responsible people left in this country?
Noobs.

My apologies for coming off ass cocky, I am no better than anyone else nor do I hate my car, I have the money to do the repairs as I save my money well and have invested in 401k as well as stocks to make sure my money is out to good use. I personally love my car and sometimes it just seems like everything happens at once, the damage may have been my fault or not, either way it just all appeared out of nowhere. My sincere condolences for getting on anyone's nerves or coming off as a cocky 20 year old. I come on this sight regularly to read posts about everything; and also have searched periodically for maintenance related topics that had not even come up yet. I'm curious about the car and without your help I would have never even had the nerve to take my bumpers off, install my aspec, tear off all my doors, do the window roll-up mod, wrap my interior in carbon fiber, install peddles, and independent integrated fogs or even the simple things such as which LEDs to buy for the interior. Overall this website is an amazing tool and an encyclopedia of knowledge, and when used properly can tell you almost anything you need to know. It has definitely saved me tons of money on the DIY's and I am proud to drive around in my acura. But I do work my ass off to have this car and move out and right now it doesn't seem like much to me but I'm working towards a career, the start of something I can hopefully retire from. This car is a hobby, and like anyone else around here I've come to enjoy receiving packages in the mail as a child one a Christmas gift under the tree. So I may owe everyone an apology, and that picture you posted was a while ago but mock as you will, I do dress rather different than some but we all share a common interest here, and that's our cars

Recon 45 my acura will be fixed by next week, and my car personally looks better than yours so you can keep your little remarks to yourself. I am doing just fine by my standards. I could be alot more vulgar but I won't stoop down to the level with which most of you have. My car is by far a POS, and i prefer my car over many here. To each his own.

I agree it has definitely made work seem rather intriguing today. Maybe I should treat my POS car like crap more often so I can post more things. I don't have red letters on iPhone but that was clearly sarcasm. And no nudes. She is doing a photo shoot for velvet pearl again soon, so if you creep hard enough you'll see some rather interesting things. Id rather you not though, I have to deal with enough people harassing my girlfriend enough as is.

you dont apologize for being cocky then turn around and say some cocky shit like "i invested my money in a 401k"
again as many said.. no one cares how much you make, what you want to possibly do, or why your gf does photoshoots..
btw.. does her photoshoot resemble this..

Attractive woman do photo shoots, and no her clothes are on its dresses and stuff, but I'm sure you wouldn't know anything about attractive woman. And how is being smart with money being cocky? Thats called being smart, again something you clearly don't know about. I'm glad you don't care, maybe your girlfriends/exs are into that kinda stuff and that's cool if you like that haha. I only date classy brauds though

I'm joining the Air Force to get a degree for basically free and to go through the experience, then if I don't like it I will get out and.... Pursue a job in the field of study. I know para rescue is intense, I would rather do combat controller anyway. Both are hard and intense, I watched the episode on surviving the cut of it. Looks.... Mortifying to say the least. But nothing comes easy, well until I realized half the members on here were self proclaimed young millionaires and such

I'm just messing with you bro. If you want some career advice though I'd say forget selling your soul to the government just for a free degree. You can go to a local community college and for less than 10k in debt get your degree in nursing and get your RN license. You'll be making 50-60k in no time and won't be slaving away for Uncle Sam's crazy agenda if world imperialism!

I come from a military family and I almost just feel obligated to follow in the footsteps, it's something I have always wanted to do. And my mom is an RN and absolutely hates it, although she makes double what I do and works three nights a week it just doesn't seem for me.
