neglect because your transmission is "failing" and yet you have the pressure switches and redline sitting in your house. If you SEARCH, there are plenty of threads about people thinking their transmission is going bad and swap the switches, and everything operates the way it should. Read young one, it will save you from the fest.

So should I just change the switches then? I don't see switches as making that much of a deal I saw the switch thread and have the DIY book marked but I didn't think it would save a transmission.

no money spent on switches you already own vs 2500 on a rebuild?? seems like common sense to me

Haha no problem, the only problem is putting in the switches without a lift seems hassling. How long does it take? May try it this weekend. Maybe then you guys can talk about how I don't know how to use tools and stuff some more, or how I neglect my car
Haha. If only you saw the white trash people around here, my car is like a lambo where I live, and I take care of it very well.

You don't need a lift, you need a jack and jack stands. Lift car, take off driver's side wheel, pull back plastic crap and replace switches.

you clearly don't know dick about much of anything if you think you need a lift to replace a couple of transmission sensors.

I say keep the car, make the necessary fixes, and lay off pedal until you have. You have a great car and you gonna have to spend a little and treat it right.

I love you guys, but why are you ripping OP so hard? It could have been another "does this wheel look good on my car" thread. He's managed to respond pretty intelligently and hasn't really gotten fired up. I don't think I was that level headed at 20.

I think we are turning into part of the elitist problem with AZ. We can't treat ALL the 20 years old like morons...especially not the ones that aren't acting like it.
