interior lights question....

If I left my dome/map lights on by mistake, will they just go off on their own, or will they stay on until the battery runs dead?....If they do go off on their own, how long does it take...i read the manual, but found nothing in my quick search....

On another note: Argggg thread jack

Do you guys think that if you have LEDs on the interior it lengthens the battery life since they take less volts than normal bulbs?
