Interior LED bulb replacement
In response to those who asked what kind of LED's I got for my car, I went to the store where I got them from and wrote down the name of the brand and their website:
http://www.brm21.com/US/bulb_e.html
I got the replacement bulb type 194 on the four dome lights, door lights, trunk and license plate lights
and here are the samples of them on my car:

I got all four lights (not any trunk/license/or door), Just the lights on the ceiling for $19 total.
Of course I bought them off the internet.

I believe the # for the TL's dome lights are 2825, but it doesn't hurt to look them up or take out the lights and check.
I had a little problem with the site: It took 2 weeks to ship.
But my friend got his in 3 days...So....?
Also when I ordered mine it was Christmas season...
I like the site though, they got the lights to me safely, and they were shipped after 1 day of processing, so I am guessing it was USPS's problem...
Also to take out the current lights are pretty simple. Use scotch tape, it helps and makes things quicker.
Search more on this topic, there is a member who posted a really helpful thread with pictures and more...
Sorry for the long post.
Hopefully this helps and someone makes use of the site.

i didnt mind paying a premium on these (they're probably like $10/pair somewhere online), but the instant gratification to know they work as i wanted them to pays off

Ordered from SuperBrightLEDs.com last time, shipping only took a few days Had the blue LED's in the front door's to match the dashboard lighting.
I'll have to place another order for the new car, thinking about doing the entire car just as sixsixfour. The interior and the license plate lighting looks awesome

I too ordered the mini-wedge bulbs from SuperBrightLEDs (194/168 type) for another vehicle and one started flickering after about a year. Had two of the festoon type dome lights and both of them crapped-out after a few months. They were too directional to be bright, anyway. That was about 3-3.5 years ago and in my Blazer. All of the other LED replacement bulbs I installed in the truck are still workikng great (old-school 1157/1156 types). I did the CCFL mod above my plate and love it. Could some of the others be replaced with small CCFL tubes? Front door corners, trunk lights (seen this one), etc...

sixsixFour your ride looks sweet with the lights like that. I have an 07TL-S and want my lights to look similiar to yours. I'll probably go with the mini-wedge lights from Superbright LEDS. How many would I have to order for interior and the license plate?

Depending on how bright you want it, you can fit 921-x12's all the way around, except for the license plate lights. The biggest you can go there is the 921-x9, because the 12-diode LED just doesn't fit. Of course, you can just go 9-diodes all the way around. If you really want to go all the way, you can order 2 WLED-x LED's (2 single LED's), one for the glove compartment, and one for the center storage console. One thing to keep in mind if you do this, though, is that you will have to modify the light bulb housings in these two areas, as the replacement LED's will not totally be seated until you file down or (enlargen somehow) the bulb housing so that it seats all the way down in the fitting.
Of course, you can purchase all of these bulbs on superbrightleds.com. Hope this helps!

Hey princelybug, I'm thougt you and I got the same type of bulb - SuperBrightLED's "Type 74" Wedge Base Single bulb LED - for the Glove Box and the Center Storage Console. These:
74 Wedge Base LED bulb
Small Wedge Base LED bulb (74 type)~ 2 lumen
3/16 inch wide base, 13/16 inch overall length
Flat tipped LED produces wide beam angle

I didn't have to modify mine at all. Just put 'em in the socket and screw the socket back into the housing.
I think we've both got '07 Type-S's. Only difference I can think of is I got Red bulbs, but that really *shouldn't* matter.
Any ideas on why you had to tweak yours and I didn't? Could be useful for others later.
EDIT - Nevermind. I see now. You got the WLED Single bulb. If you get the ones I mention above, they fit without any tweaking. There is also now a 6 lumen version of the same type.
