What's a good price for a TL, Automatic, and Navi black on black?


My M3 got stolen last week and wrecked. (http://www.officebuildings.com/m3). As soon as the insurance company gives me the ok that they agree it's totaled, I want to jump on an Acura. I've been debating between the MDX and the TL. The gadgets in the TL have me leaning towards it.

I'm also interested in the A-spec package. Am I better off adding this on later or getting it at the beggining.

I'm in Central NJ. Any recommendations on price and/or dealers would be appreciated.

turnersville NJ seems to give really good prices for the car. youre doing pretty good if you can get a NAVI TL for 33k

if you want the a-spec package, i believe that runs 3,500 installed

i just paid 33,500 for a 6mt/ with navi. that's the best i could do short of walking out. and a 20 % off on the underbody spoiler kit which was 1018 and change installed. not sure if it is a good deal but i am very happy with it. if you had an m3 before you probably won't be happy with the tl. i have a 400rwhp rx7 and it's feels like driving a civic almost in terms of the power difference. i love the gadgets that come with the car though. kvn

 

Damn sorry to see those pics of the M3. Just curious how did it get wrecked that bad? Where was it stolen from? I live in central Jersey too, just curious because that looks like a bad wreck1

 

$3,500 for the A-spec sounds low. I've been quoted $5900 plus install ($600) by one dealer and $5200 plus $700 install by another, slightly more distant dealer.

 

I live in Freehold, NJ. Car was stolen from my appt parking lot (Avalon appts near shopright on Rt9). I heard a tow truck at 3am but i was in bed with a fever and didn't get up to check out what was up. Last thing i thought was that it was my car.

My theory is, that they towed the car out (because i heard a tow truck), probably was gonna chop it up and when they busted the lock open with a screw driver they found my vallet key in the glove box and decided to drive it.

They stole it between Midnite Fri Nite and 1 PM Sat AM. on the 4th. The police called me at 6:30 AM on Tues the 8th that they found it like show in the pics.

They found it in east orange and apparently they guy who stole it crashed thru a street lamp, into a chain link fence, hit a utility pole and knocked it over and then bounced into a tree. The tow trcuk guy said he hit a house too, but i didn't see any evidence of that.

They guy got out of the car and ran before the cops arrived. He left his hat and his house keys in the car as well as the scrwdriver he busted the lock with.

Cops aren't going to investigate because the car wasn't in a homicide or armed robbery.

Insurance told me they are declaring it totaled today. Will find out tomorrow how much i'm going to loose on this.

 

Thanks for the info, I'm into this car for the gadgets. Dollar for dollar I don't think you can beat this car. Lots of gadgets. It's going to be tough adjusting at first, but i liked my test drive.

I'm wrestling between this, an MDX, or maybe ever another bmw. The m3 was my 2nd beemer, but i think the TL at $33 - 35K would be a great value until i get a house with a garage.

I just bought a 2004 acura TL 5AT with navi, anthracite/black. Bought it end of June and it arrived 3 weeks later in July. The cost with destination and wheel locks thrown in was 32,400. In New York.

I so wouldnt have an E46 M3 (or even TL) if I didnt have a garage to keep it in.

 

I'm getting out of my 7 and getting a TL. I've been doing the rx-7 thing for 4 years now. The gadgets make the TL. The car has enough power to get around most cars on the road easily.
