Intake Info or any mods?

Hi guys, Ive been thinking about an intake from INJEN or similar. I looked at dyno tests on the TL automatic and it was delivering about 212HP at the wheels....not a bad number!
When I went to the INJEN website, the dyno graph shows the same 212 HP....that would mean no gain at all!!

Anyone could comment on that?

Also.....is anyone aware of any available mods for the 04 TL's

Thanks

Injen has the only intake out so far. AEM has one on the way. Keep in mind that dynos and test conditions will vary. The important thing is the change. The Injen tests were on the same dyno within an hour of each other, and they published the actual dyno sheet not presentation graphics. IMO, this should increase confidence in their CAI. I just ordered one and plan to hit the dyno again after install. I'll definitely publish results here if you want more data...

You have to look at the delta on the same vehicle, same testing conditions and the same dyno... yes, the Injen AT's baseline probably dynoed a little low but the gains are relatively impressive.

I bought an Injen, couldn't be happier... well maybe a supercharger.

Mind the dirty engine bay on my 6MT:

Damn, I want one! Really, how far down does the CAI hang? I'm in Florida (I know, I know); anyone with one installed mind snapping a few pics from below?

Please tell me it'll be OK in Florida!!!

It's all about the BHP.

the dyno for the injen does not look good. the aem is across the entire rpm range and makes consistent hp and torque.

Looking at one dyno and comparing it to the Ijnen dyno doesn't tell you anything. They are two different cars on two different dynos on two different days. If you look at Injen's dyno, they have a line for the pre-mod, and one for the post-mod, which will give you an idea of the changes in power.

it looks good dnszoom! Do you feel a difference in the car (besides sound)? How hard was it to install?

Thanks for all the replies!! ^__^
