I pay $94 a month, up from $83 a month due to a few claims through Geico. I'm the original owner, full coverage and gap, have the GN listed as my daily even though lately I drive it once a year. It was cheaper to insure 2 cars than it was to have the TL as my daily.

i pay 1200 a year or basically 100 a month not bad especially for my age. I learned that the IS250 and TL(or TL-S) insurance isnt as expensive as you would expect being a sport/luxury car

I'm in the market for an 07/08 Type-S as well and I was just quoted 66/mo for full coverage on a daily driven TL-S with our carrier. I live in the cheap-to-insure portion of the midwest.

The funny thing here (if you find insurance to be funny anyway) is that it costs more to insure that car than it does to fully cover our 2005 Odyssey plus liability on my 98 Civic! Ouch!

For reference, I'm 26 and married. We have multiple policies with our insurance company (multi-vehicle, home owner's, long-time-member discount, etc) so that helps a bit too.

I'm paying about $2800 a year and I have 2 accidents and multiple speeding tickets and a suspension on my record........ All before I was 18 too lol. I went with the TL because it was the nicest and most reasonable to insure car I was considering buying

Insurance will vary based on age, driving record, location, (sometimes credit history), coverage limits, etc.

For the Fit and the TL I pay about $950 every 6 months. 100/300/100 coverage since we currently rent.

As others have said, the TL isn't bad to insure. I actually traded in a 2006 Jetta when I got my 06 TL and the insurance actually went down. For some reason, VWs are expensive to insure. I'm paying somewhere around $650 every 6 months for the TL and an 05 Accord EX-L. I'm 32 and have one accident, which was five years ago.

try calling or visiting your local insurance agency who handle many companies. look in phone book
Have them compare based on all your factors and situation

then call the big companies and ask for their rates at various coverage levels
Note- smart money pays for the 100$ glass deduct- not $500 on glass, as the windshield cost less than that~

But the octane is sort of tuned into it. They could design it to run on 87 but it would get worse mpg. Designing it for 91 will get more power and mpg, enough so to offset the $1.60 per fillup.

You Americans really got it good. I'm 19 and pay $280/mo. on my '07 base TL here in Vancouver, BC. Even with the max discount (20 years accident-free) it still costs about $150/mo.

How can you be accident free at 19 years old?

You're still young, it doesn't really matter if you're accident-free or not. I pay more then all of you if I didn't have anyone else on my insurance.

I was with Allstate since 2000, but last year they decided I needed an adjustment increase of $400.00 for a six month policy. With no tickets or crashes on my records, they still wanted to increase my rate. They couldnt even tell me WHY the increase was warranted. Just sent me a letter and kept telling me. "after reveiwing our records, you account seems to be de-appreciated" what ever the Frack that means.

So...I went with Progressive, and I pay $116.00 every month, but thats with alot of add on's likelow deductiable, longer rental coverage, etc.

$380/6 months through Geico. Full coverage, $50 comprehensive/$1000 collision deductible. 26 - no accidents or tickets.

Of course I've had to switch a few times - I switch to Allstate last year after I bought my Corvette and then switched back to Geico after Allstate raised my rates and I sold the Vette. I'm sure they'll bump it up in another 6 months after the honeymoon is over...we'll see.

I was with Allstate for a while as well and ended my relationship when they went up on our car insurance 500.00. Never been in an accident or ticket and they couldn't tell me why as well. At least they sent you a letter I got a call telling me I would loose my insurance in 10 days if I didn't pay the remaining balance.

Wow - GEICO is charging me $900/6 months, and that includes discounts and a clean record. I called them to see why my rate is so much higher and they said it's most likely based on my location (NYC), and they said they're charging me the most competitive rate they possibly can.

I meant if you were to have the full discount possible it still costs around $150/mo. which is a lot more than what most insurance companies charge in the states.

Wow- got my new policy statement and boy did the TL drop in price this year.

Here are the specifics: 250Keach person/500K each accident/1K deductable/rental/uninsured same as liability. IDS Property Casualty.

Total: 224 for 6 months with another vehicle included on policy

Big changes year over year:

Collision dropped from 145 to 73
Bodily Liability dropped from 130 to 84
Uninsured Motorist dropped from 37 to 25

Net savings= $147 or $294 per year. Conversely our Pilot dropped just $3 for the period

I'm wondering if this is the result of hitting the big 5-0 age wise, but it was a pleasant surprise never the less

26 years old, I am currently with Geico. I have had one suspension, no accidents (knock on wood) and currently have 8 points on my license. I just sold my CTS and I was paying 76 per month. I called to see how much an 05 TL is (purchasing it next week) and it was going to be about the same. SO 76 bucks a month it is! Not too bad considered my checkered past.
