AAA is one of the known insurance you can buy these days. They usually give you a good deal and they have deals too lower like driver education, good grades (for students), college discounts, etc... You get the biggest discounts if you get Home Insurance and/or life insurance bundled. I know Home Insurance and Car Insurance will save you at least 50$ per month depending on your age and record. My insurance used to cost nearly $400 (3 cars, full coverage). I bundled it up with Home Insurance, it ended up going to $300.
Yah right now with my brother we got 4 cars on full coverage, home insurance and the total annual policy comes out to $4,678. So not sure If I can get a better price, but I guess I will shop around

The rate varies greatly depending on your location, driving history, age etc. It's easier to just get quotes; when you do that don't give them your driver's license number or SS number. Just tell them your driving history etc. verbally.
Encompass Insurance, my wheels got stolen they came over the next day and signed a check on the spot. That was the fastest I have ever seen an insurance company work for me.
Insurance rates vary too much from person to person. I'm a licensed agent although I don't deal specifically with home/auto. Just call a bunch of companies and find out who is the lowest. It also depends on what state you're in. FWIW in NC, Allstate was the lowest price I could find by a large margin.
For the majority "progressive" has the lowest rates for drivers under 14 years of driving experience. Mercury insurance is cheap as well, but they take a bit longer to pay out.ussa is cheap but you have to have family in the military. State farm is very competative if you have a clean driving record for at leat 6 years.
We have Allstate for our 3 cars and home. We've had just one claim about 1 year ago and we were happy with their service.
Before I met my wife I used to insure both my cars and renters' with State Farm. During my time with State farm I had two claims and again, I was happy with the service. Although we have no issues with Allstate, we recently decided to get quotes from the competition and State Farm came in the lowest, so we're planning to switch over next year.

I have used Progressive for 7 years now and I while I don't have any major complaints about them, it did take quite a while (almost two weeks) for my deductible to be reimbursed to me after another driver rear-ended my car at a traffic light in October 2007. This delay happened to a co-worker of mine, also.
I'm thinking about switching to Geico because for the amount I am spending now ($125/mo) I can add rental coverage, increase uninsured/under insured coverage, AND reduce my deductible from $500 to $200. I'm just unsure about how well they are with customer satisfaction when it comes to filing and paying claims.

AIG for me: $481 for 6 months
with 500k bodily injury liability / 100k property damage / 300k bodily injury uninsured with $500 deductible comprehensive and $1000 ded. collision. Car Rental is 25/day with 750 max. It's important to compare coverages because there are a lot of variables in coverage. No accidents or tickets (knock on wood).

Take a look.

Medical 5000
Uninsured 100/300
Deductible Collision 1000
Deductible Other than Collision 250
Rental 30/Day with 900 Max
1,129 for 12 months (1 year)
BTW, mine is a 07 TL-S.
you're 31... I'm surprised yours is still that high. Guess it depends on where you live and how many tickets / accidents you've been in.
I'm also going through USAA, btw only available to people in the Military...or who have family in military.
I pay $102 a month full coverage, i'm 27 never had a ticket, and i drive less than 5k miles a year and have $500 dollar deductable. I don't know how you get $50 with a 250 deductible hahah.
Must have some super low coverages.
I do think the $102 i pay every month is a little much, i would be fine with 80 a month but i like to have high coverages in case (god forbid) i hurt someone bad and they come after my money.
