Instrument cluster/shroud
I know this has been done before by 24no7, but I messaged him with no response (and I can't find the thread again).
What I would like to know is if the instrument panel shroud from an 07-08 TL can be directly swapped into an 04-06 TL. I know that the instruments have different colors and layouts, but I don't want to change the instruments, just the plastic surround that covers the gauges. The 07-08 I believe had sort of a trim around each gauge, whereas the 04-06 is just plain (reminds me of my grandpa's Buick).
Any input? TIA
