Installing Splash Guards?

Hi .. I am in the process of installing the splash guards on my TL and I am having a problem removing one of the self-tapping screws on the front section. So far, all the other screws have removed fine.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Some of these screws won't back themselves out. Get your fingernail (or a knife-edge) behind the head of the screw to pull it out as you unscrew it.

you might need a 90 degree screwdriver, or actually my 90 degree screwdriver was too big so i just took the bit out and uncsrewed it by hand. you have to turn the steering wheel to the furthest angle btw. and hold the splash guards while you screw it in to make sure it holds w/o a gap

Thanks for the info. I will keep at it ... I tried a few ways to get it to back out, but I had no luck. I didn't want to work it too hard, but I will try to get something under the screw head to give it some help.

In the meantime, I installed the rear guards, but to tell you the truth, I am not crazy about how they look. The front look ok, but the rears are not flush with the body ... there is a small, but noticeable gap I had installed the Honda splash guards on my wife's Odyssey van and they look great. I wonder if the bracket is not in place correctly or what? Any other ideas? Thanks again.
