I have a 2005 TL with an Aspec body kit on it. I bought the car this way and was rear ended. Do I need to get a TL rear bumper or a TL-s rear bumper for the Aspec spoiler to work? Can I just buy any rear bumper for my TL and intall the Aspec spoiler and will it fit?

Get rear bumper + A-Spec bumper add-on (the under spoiler/ground effect/aero, whatever you call it) + wing spoiler/deck lip spoiler, depending on your taste.

 

Only reason to get a TL-S bumper would be to have an S style exhaust or to have the S Aspec rear kit. Of neither of those apply to you just get the base rear and base Aspec.

 

So from what your saying is..that I can buy a plain TL rear bumper and install the Aspec rear spoiler and it will match up and fit my stock TL exhaust?

 

Yeah that's right. Just make sure to get the a-spec rear spoiler for the base bumper and not for the type-s bumper.

 

Its a 05, there was no type S available till 07! you will be fine. Its base bumper and base ASPEC
