I have seen princing range from 750 - 1000 depending on the dealer. I was originally interested and was quoted 900 from my local dealer!

 

Dealers set their own service costs, so it will vary. My local dealer quoted me $6900 for the kit. That breaks down to $5200 retail for parts and $1700 for labor. They will not break down the book rate hours of work or labor rate. I guess it would be hard to explain a $200/hr rate for the job... I'm currently getting quotes from other dealers.

IMHO, $500 feels about right to install this kit - especially if the dealer has already made a lot of money off you on the parts. If they are experienced that's a pretty healthy hourly rate. If they are not experienced, we shouldn't be funding their education.
