a 10mm socket Wrench. Pretty easy. you have to remove rear bumper either partially or completely.

Interesting thing about Type-S tail lights, which I don't really care for. Prefer the plain TL version.

I ordered a set of Type-S rear side marker lights from Tim to replace the red ones that come stock on the '06 TL. Saw the FedEx tracking page which said the package was 9.1lbs & thought it was just a typo.

When the box arrived it was big enough for a small TV set to fit in & did weight about 10lbs, Maybe a whole lot of safety packing built up the weight.

Nah, it was really a set of Type-S tail lights, great deal for $100.

Just kidding, called Tim to get them swapped for the side markers which should arrive on Wednesday.

Follow this guide by Buda. Step by step, easy to follow rear bumper removal. This was my guide to installing my TL-S tails. Scroll down to the bottom.
