What can cause a car to Fail inspection?
Can the amber removal cause me to fail inspection?
Are NY laws that severe?

 

check your state motor vehicle website for exact spec-
are you referring to the front turn signal bulbs?
You are allowed certain changes as long at in the back its red brakes, and red or yellow turn signal
Front yellow and sometimes white are ok for turns

other bust- too low- too dark tint- any dash warning lights -CEL on,
broken windshield....

 

Did you fail the inspection? I never had a such a problem, they only check if all the lights are working, tires are good, and the car is not hazardous..

There are plenty of cars in bklyn with illegal mods, and they pass just fine.

why dont you go stand outside the inspection place and watch what comes thru
Then ask if exhaust mods are ok- without your car being right in front of them~
