Im looking to buy an CAI for my 2004 TL 6 sp. Some places online say Automatic only, Whats the deal with that? What difference does it make?

 

I had one installed on my 04 nbp 6mt. Check nopi.com you can get it there and I must say it is the best $190 you'll ever spend.

 

So was it worth the purchase??? Did you feel any difference with the INJEN intake??? Increase in hp or decrease in hp???

 

Injen sent a copy of the dyno graph with the CAI. I think it was about 8hp max gain-I already had the comptech exhaust but the car did seem more responsive after the CAI was installed. FWIW we went to an 1/8 mile track last night and my 6mt bested my friends stock TL by almost half a second and 5mph(his car was an auto though so I realize that is part of it).
