Incredible Acura Service Experience

I have to give props to Ferman Acura in Tampa. I brought my 07 TLS in for service last week which is out of warranty.

They only charged me $140 to do a brake job with my supplied Hawk HPS pads. I complained about my driver seat and arm rests turning blue. Last time they replaced the leather. This time they couldn't b/c of out of warranty, but they re-stained it for me. They had my car for almost a week doing different odds and ends that they didn't charge me for. They also put me in a 2010 TSX for the entire duration of time.

I got my car back today and it looked virtually brand new. All of the sales people were gawking at it telling me to NEVER trade it as its the only KBP TLS 3G that they've seen in the entire state of Florida

Anyways, amazing experience and something I've never experienced when servicing my wife's Toyota but that's a totally different story.

Buddy, I'm so glad to hear everything went to well for you. Obviously, Ferman Acura wants your business in the future.

Congrats!

They only charged you $140 to do the pads so they can get you for rotors next time, now that they know you're running non-OEM pads.

J/K Sadly it's the exception to hear of good experiences with the stealerships, but is good to hear nonetheless.

The Hawk HPS pads are really good. Although they bedded them for me, I found they worked better when I rebed them myself when I got home. Now I am braking as good as I did with my Brembos only no more dusting. Acura claims my rotors will last likely to 100k miles. If they don't, I'm going slotted next

IMO the best thing to do is call Acura Client Services and tell them how happy you were with your experience and how you were treated as a customer. They pass this down the chain and who knows, it might put a big smile on your SA's face!
