im new to this site trying to make some mods to my tl. where can i find the topic to darken or lighten my headlights. any advice will help!!

what do you mean darken or lighten your headlights? you can smoke them with film or paint the insides black to make the headlights look darker.. dont know what u mean by making them lighter though

 

i wanna darken the inside of the headlights. and any info on where i can get them done in cali or if i can do it myself would be great! just need to know what im gonna need if i decide to do them myself

 

Welcome and Congrats, I believe a few members in cali have gone to a place that does them there. They will have to chime into the name of that place. But in the 3G garage there is a diy also.

Ok, last night i was looking around the 3g forum and came across a thread that the guy gave a step by step explanation of how to blackout the headlights by removing the yellow part of the headlights and painting the inner piece of the headlight a gloss black. ive already looked in the DIY but no luck! if anyone has info on that thread please help me out!
