I'm back! I just bought a 07 TL Type-S, KBP!
I traded in my 06 White TL for a NISMO 350Z 2.5 years ago, and finally the Z has just gotten to me with it's roughness, loud, and just not being comfortable at all. Wow, on my 2000 post I posted this!
I was off work today (holiday) and went car shopping just to look. So I thought. I went to Lexus, and after driving them, I wasn't excited at all. I drove the GS350, and the IS350, and ES350. I liked the GS and IS, and both were really nice. The IS was way to small, but I like the way it handled. The GS, just something about it, I didn't like the way it drove as much as I thought I would have. So, I went to a few other dealers, and went to one dealer that I remember looking at some ads on the net of 3 cars I knew they had. So I went, and literally dropped my jaw and found the car I wanted a long time ago, and couldn't pass this opportunity up again to get one.
I found a 2007 Acura TL Type-S, in Royal Blue Pearl, with 31k miles Certified. Made the deal happen, and walked out with it tonight.
Here are a few pictures of it, and the Z. I will miss the Z for the fun, but glad I got rid of it as it was just getting way to rough for me. The TL handles nice, quiet, all the gizmos the Lexus's have literally, and a lot cheaper in cost. Got the rare color for it as well which is hard to find. The original owner looked like he babied it. The sales person has known him, said the guy is very particular about his cars. It was super clean. Looks new, I couldn't find a thing wrong with it. And I am picky!
San Antonio owners rejoice! We need to get our group back together again!

Welcome back and grats on the TL-S. Did you trade in the Z?

Yes actually. I have a Sciatica issues with my back and left leg, so it's actually nice to have a auto vs a manual like I had in the Z. The car is my Daily Driver, so I rather it be a nice fun one.

Nice pickup Pimpin. While my AV6 was being serviced @ Honda, I drove an 07 TL-S 5AT(blue/black) yesterday and it was a blast. (The acceleration/handling seriously puts my 07 AV6 to shame.) Enjoy your new ride man.
