I'm in Baby !!!!!!!!!

I found an 05 TL and drove it home ! I'm officially a member now !

The car is so almost perfect for a used car. It is actually hard to find even a slightest scratch. It could pass as new. and still smells new.

Red with black leather interior. The thing is tight and runs strong.

The wife is expecting twins and I have been hauling her around to doctors appointments in the mini van and after I gave her a ride in the TL her coment was we can drive this Friday to the appointment.

This car was worth the wait.

I do have a question....I only got one key. The Acura dealer said I would need to have an Acura dealer cut me one.

Can I just get one cut at a key shop ?

Congrats on the car!

The keys each have an imbedded immobilizer chip which must be programmed to permit ignition start-up, so the key shop must have that programming equipment.

An unprogrammed key or regular key blank copy will open the door lock, however.

BTW, you should have received 2 remote fobs, 2 keys with black heads and a valet key with a gray head (which doesn't fit the glovebox or trunk pass-through locks).

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to AZ!!~ As far as the key, there is a chip in them they needs to get programed at the dealership, although depending on where you are located I've read members that have been to local places that customize in cutting and programming keys for the fraction of the price of the dealership. Below is a great link for our 3G TL's....Congrats again on the purchase and new expecting child!~~ Post some pics of the new ride.

Nice pick up. I had a similar situation. I picked up an 04, two years ago and it only had 7k miles and was flawless.

The key you can only get mad from a place that makes transponder keys I believe, but don't quote me on that.

Thanks guys ! picked it up for 16500 with 57000 on the clock.

I was blown away with the light it throws out at night. It's like a blanket of light.

I'm sure I'll get the itch to mod it some how. But it is fun to drive as it is.

I am pretty sure you can just buy one off of ebay and such and get it programmed at the dealer, just like the viper alarms. There is no chips in them, well at-least the 05's like the bMWs and such.

Congrats on the new to you TL And also the twins. Plenty of room in the back for them. I had to get a key made for my wife's 350Z and found a local place that made them with programming. Might just try looking locally for a place instead of the dealer. Might be cheaper.

Congrats on the car and the upcoming twins! We bought the TL for some more reliable and spacious transportation as we're expecting at the end of this year and the C32 had never been a car we could count on.

Now if I could just get the wife to get rid of the Tiburon!

I bought this key on Ebay, you really can't beat the price. You just gotta get it cut and programmed and you're in business.
