I'm in!!
I am scheduled to pick up my new Anthracite/Ebony 5AT non-nav Vin 30*** on Saturday morning. Finally, I get to join the TL owners ranks. 
I have been lurking in here as an outsider since December trying to figure out whether the TL was the right car for me. Thanks to all of you, I know that the TL will make me very happy.
It was close between the RX-8 and the TL, but in the end, I really couldn't pass up the luxury and ease of ownership that the TL will provide. The renesis engine in the RX-8 is a magnificent powerplant, but until they figure out how to make a rotary more efficient and reliable I will stick to pistons.
I will keep you all updated on my progress/adventures in my new TL.

30XXXX huh??? i got mine 2 weeks ago and its 33XXX. i think new ones are well past 35XXX. just make sure you look over it really carefully and check for vibration at 50mph. those might be the "older" el42's. But anyways congratualtions on the new TL. i'm sure you'll love the car. i think you'll be glad you didn't get the rx8, the rotary engine sucks as far as reliability goes. not to mention the whole horse power scandal a few months back.

All of the purchase arrangements were done over the phone/e-mail. So far, this has been the most painless car leasing/buying experience that I have ever had. Rick Case Acura is great.
As for the RX-8, I really love the way that car drives. There is something about being able to rev up to 9K RPM that just puts a smile on my face. Also, I think Mazda hit a home run with the way it looks and handles. Unfortunately, the Renesis is prone to eat oil and it has horrible gas mileage. Hopefully, Mazda will continue to develop the Rotary engine and maybe after this TL's lease is up, a future RX-? may be in my future.
Thanks to all of you for your help and advice since December. I can't wait to post my future adventures in my new TL.
