A couple of those are available in the 3G's. I still cant believe the 04-06 TL's dont have auto headlights.

I was just gonna say that too. I don't see the damn point in the tape deck, I mean granted I did play my old school Ron G, DJ S+S, and Double R tapes for a few days but the sound just started to drive me crazy. I don't see why they didn't put a usb port for mp3's/ipod's and control through the radio and steering wheel.

As for the other choices, I think I would've chose sh-awd, remote start as a factory item rather then an option add-on, folding rear seat, DVD ready screen maybe even screens in the headrests already like volvo did.

ability display what's playing on multiple XM channels at that moment
wi-fi for easy file transfer and internet access (i.e. downloading mp3s from home pc)
internet access via tethering to your cell
bluetooth technology that's able to stream or transfer mp3s to and from laptops or other BT devices

I would like to hear a intro voice when i turn on my car. I know its a little stupid but if the lady from the cars integrated speech recognition could say, "good morning mr. (insert last name here)" and asked me what kind of music i wanted to listen to, it would put chills down my spine.

A TURBO button!

I'd like at least a USB port if not a hard-drive on the audio system, and power tilt and tele on the steering wheel.

I'm glad the TL doesn't have most of the stuff you guys are asking for... It would just make it heavier, more expensive, more complex, etc. The TL is an ENTRY level luxury sport sedan, it's not supposed to have as many features as an all-out luxury cruiser. If anything the TL already has too many features, I wish it didn't have memory seats, auto climate, etc.

More features = more stuff that can break down, more expensive repairs, more weight.

You still watch Knight Rider, don't you.

I'd like remote start, the heated steering wheel, rain-sensing windows/sunroof so they'd close if it starts raining when parked, and it wouldn't be such a bad idea to have a button on the remote to light all the exterior lights (except the headlights) so you can easily check to see if one's burned out.

Oh, and the passenger side should have a full heated seat instead of just the seatpan part. The "It's for the airbags" is BS, Honda. You figured out how to get 100hp/liter out of a 4-banger. You were the first to figure out VTEC. And you figured out how to make the mirror auto-dim when light is shined on it (I still don't know how that works, but I suspect witchcraft). If you can figure all that out, you can figure out how to run a heating element up the back of a seat.

How about removing the "feature" of activating the A/C when turning on the ventilation system. I have to hit so many buttons just to get some air blowing around.

Adjustable dead pedal.
Sensors in the blind spot, to let you know if a car is there.
A front seat that goes back further.
A curb sensor.

Jesus finally. I thought i was the only person in this place that thought this feature is stupid. I started a thread on this and people had no clue what I was talking about.

I agree that some of the mentioned features are useless and only serve the purpose of allowing car companies to charge big bucks for their cars. But people have different wants and needs. For example, my garage is a tight fit, so power folding mirrors would come in handy for me. But night vision IMO is completely ridiculous.

Saying no auto climate control now thats going a little over board. I cant stand driving my wifes Accord with standard climate control. Its a pain in the ass to get it right and you always gotta mess with it. Auto climate.... leave it and never touch it, done!

Not to go too much off topic and burst your bubble but honda was not the first to "invent" or "figure" out VTEC. BMW was the first to create it, honda was the first to patent it that's why Honda gets all the glory. And to boot the patents for "VTEC" expired a few years ago.

Anything but a cassette deck, so our interiors don't look so dated. Or a library of unlimited DVD Audio discs that we could use at any time.

Wow.. im surprised no one said this.. or maybe I missed it.. but one thing my gf's car has that I love about Lexus is that it has one touch buttons for ALL the windows!! Why Acura didnt allow it for the back windows is retarded.. I love this feature about her new is250.. I also like her a/c seats, keyless entry/ign start button.. I also like how you can dial the phone through her navi.. and see the phone book through it.. Y isnt acuras integrated into the navi screen? makes no sense..

but I gotta say, the Lexus locks out the navi when moving.. that is the most annoying thing about her car.. Thanks acura for putting just a Nag screen that we could hack!! lol

Chinese TL has:
auto folding side mirrors
display when your windshield washer fluid is low (why doesn't the US models have this...)

Other items:
Full glass roof
A/C seats that are adjustable like my ES330
AWD as many mentioned
Larger rotors for the brembos

I dont want auto adjusting headlights because you don't get the flicker effect

Wish they would have offered SH-AWD on the 07'-08' Type S. That is the one thing I wish the car had.

I can't get over the looks of the 4G, so a trade in ain't going to happen.

lolz I want to break something. Is there a better way of turning on the heat, I have to jack it up to 80+ to get any heat going.

From my experience, instead of idling the car, the heat starts flowing MUCH faster when you start driving. It might be that I need to flush the coolant and replace it.. but it takes forever and a day for the heater to warm itself on the first day's drive (outside temp is probably 40-50's)

Quick Reply: If you could add one feature to the TL, what would it be?
