I just got the timing belt, drive belt and water pump package done. I asked if the idler pulley and adjuster pulley needs replacing, the tech said no and mine "looked" fine. I asked for these parts to be replaced but they "forgot" so are they really not required? I think most only come with the two belts and water pump. Thanks.

 

Not required but the if the tensioner pulley gives any indication of becoming problematic, changing it with TB service is the time to do it.
